| Beauty Spot Program Have you seen a spot? A Beauty Spot? There are hundreds of them around our City and County. Little spots of beauty that may never be named Yard of the Month, but they are truly beautiful. They can be fine gardens, immaculate yards, a prized flowerbed, a city business with outstanding window boxes, a dazzling array of hanging baskets on a condominium porch, just about any natural outdoors setting that gives pleasure to the eye.
Spots so that they can recognize them with their new Beauty Spot award and garden stake. These small signs will be popping up all over the City and County recognizing and encouraging the tender loving care people are putting into their little bit of the environment. If you know of a Beauty Spot that should be recognized, call the Beautification office at (501) 623-7871 with the address, or go here to nominate electronically. The name and telephone number of the caretaker would be helpful if you know it. We want to acknowledge the people who are helping to make our city and county so beautiful.
