The Hot Springs/Garland County Beautification Commission is launching this year’s
educational programming with a great innovation… choice! This year, thanks to a
significant increase in volunteer presenters, we are able to offer made-to-measure
educational programming to your school, scout group, summer camp, etc.
Our broad base of environmental and social impact issues allows us to bring
educational programming to your students covering diverse issues such as the
environmental impact of cigarette litter (a novel and effective anti-smoking program),
and Graffiti Hurts, an established social program highlighting the social and
economic impact of graffiti.
Some classes may need only story and interaction programs, but others may require
complete educational packages including in-class demonstrations, hands-on
projects, web research tasks, and even field work classes. All these alternatives are
available for all your student/grade levels.
Let the Commission be a valuable resource for your hard-pressed educators. We
will work with your team to present valuable environmentally themed programs
targeting your requirements. To make arrangements, please call Adam Roberts at
(501) 655-2161, or email AdamRobertsHSGCBC@msn.com.
